Derek & Frandy were my choice to sell my condo at le Bassin du Havre. It needed to be painted and cleaned which they handled without any problem. It will be difficult to provide feedback about Derek without sounding hyperbolic. He is amazing! About 3 1/2 years ago, my husband (who is a realtor from Manhattan) and I started looking for a condo to purchase in downtown Montreal. We were in NYC, so we were not super familiar with real estate in Montreal although we knew the city well and knew exactly where we wanted to buy. After working with one realtor who was not quite up to task, we found Derek. We could not have found a better guide to navigate us through the local real estate market, requirements, and laws. Derek was incredibly patient with us throughout the Covid pandemic—never pressured or rushed us, always provided listings for us to review that fit our criteria, and showed several units to us via video or when we came to Montreal. We finally found our dream condo because of his persistence and his connections (he knew the selling agent and was able to arrange a preview of the unit before it opened to the public). Derek walked us through the entire transaction with supreme grace and competence. We have refered him to friends from NYC and Toronto and will continue to do so. You just won’t find a better residential realtor in Montreal.
